More Wearable Art from Artbeads.com

Artbeads is one of my favorite places to buy unique pendants for my jewelry creations. They have such a great selection that you can't find anywhere else. For example, they have wooden pendants painted on canvas. I have never seen anything like this anywhere else. Look what I created with the Vision Wood Pendant:

Place yourself inside a beautiful crashing wave with this wood pendant featuring a print of the painting "Vision" by artist Chris Pedersen. Whether you enjoy surfing, the beach or seascape artwork, you will love this mini-masterpiece. The pendant is paired with light green and brown faceted and round cat's eye beads. Gorgeous for the summer months.

Playing Around GIVEAWAY!!!!

My last post was about creating pendants out of dominoes. I think these are so fun for the spring/summer months that I've been playing around with wire wrapping the dominoes and making pins out of them. I haven't done too much wire wrapping to date and this is good practice for me. I think the wire wrapping and Sworovski crystal embellishments make these really stunning!!!

So, if you would like to WIN one of these beautiful pins all you have to do is:

1) leave me a comment about them (1 entry)
2) add my button to your blog (1 entry)
3) blog about this giveaway and leave the link in the comment section (1 entry)
4) follow my blog (1 entry)

So that's a total of 4 entries and a chance to win a unique piece of wearable art!!!

Contest begins Thursday, March 26 at midnight EST and ends Sunday, March 29 at 8:00 pm EST

Dominos in Disguise

I wanted to show you what I've been working on for the spring summer months. This ordinary game piece is taken to a new level. I plan to consign a few of these as well since they are pretty artistic and I think they would fit right in at the Studio and Art Bar. What do you think????

Consignment

So I'm thinking about consigning my jewelry. I have an opportunity to work with a great little place in York, PA called The Studio and Art Bar. I'm thinking of putting a few of my pieces there to start, but I'm having a little trouble with pricing. The economy is so crappy right now that people aren't spending the way they normally would. I normally would charge anywhere from $65-$100 on some of these pieces. I need to account for the fact that it's a 40/60 split in the sale. I'm just wondering if that is too much??? Would you pay that for these beauties???? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am also thinking of making a couple of unique scrabble tile chakra necklaces (with yoga sayings) on them. I have a some examples in my shoppe.

Well.....PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT IF THESE ARE TOO PRICEY!!!
